  Chapter 1

  David

Life was good and the party at the house was even better. My sister knew how to throw a party. It didn’t have anything to do with what the cause was, she was good for a party about anything. This one was to wish me luck as I left for Canada. I was going to go and try to push our family’s company. This was usually Callie’s job, dealing with the customers, but I was trying to step up and help out while she was unable to. She may have been knocked up and too pregnant to take care of business, but she was still up and able to plan a kickass party from the looks of it.

I waved to her from across the room before I went deeper into the house and the writhing bodies that were dancing on the floor. It was the perfect time to be here, be alive and I knew that none of this would have happened without my sister and the father I never met. A lot had changed in me. I was more confident and readier to take on the world. It was hard to deny the way I felt nowadays. Nothing was off limits to me now.

This included women. Everyone knew who I was, in and out of the factory. They’d done a cover story on me and Callie meeting and growing the business. Now that we were looking into expanding into another country, everyone knew who we were. This gave me the advantage of random hot chicks walking up to me. It sounded good in theory and most days it was, but some days I was far more worried about having some peace or knowing why they were walking up to me in the first place. It wasn’t because they thought I was cute anymore. Now it was because they recognized me and wanted in on a piece of the action.

Most women thought they would be the one that made me fall in love with them. We’d get married and have kids together and then a few years down the line, she would be an ex and get half of my money. It was a harsh way to look at it but having money had opened my eyes to the world a bit.

I went to the bar and asked the girl behind it to make me a drink. She had her back to me and when she turned around, all words died in my throat. She had curly red hair that was streaked with blond and she had an angelic face. That or I was just drinking too much again. Either reason could be it. The light shone off of her bright colored hair and it clashed well with the milky skin that she had.

  “Do I know you?”

She shook her head and asked what I wanted to drink. I’d forgotten the request.

“I don’t think so, but I think everyone here knows you. David.”

I should have been flattered, but this was one chick that I wished was in the dark. I wanted to for once meet someone that didn’t know who the hell I was. There was a part of me that wanted it to be her for just a moment, but then the feeling changed, and I accepted that she wouldn’t be.

“What do you know about me?”

  “Dahlia.”

  “Okay Dahlia, what’s the gossip?”

“I hear that you’re far richer than you should be, and you like to give your money away, almost as much as you like a taste of a new woman. I also hear good things about you in the bedroom. That you’re very generous with your skill and time as well.”

I was surprised by her words, but not the intent. She wanted to be one of those new women and I was certainly okay with that. Dahlia of course didn’t know that it would be for such a short amount of time. She was convinced that she would be the one. I didn’t think it was possible, but I was willing to give it a try if she was. It was all fun and games for me either way.

“What time do you get off here?” I didn’t want to sound urgent and cheesy, but I was getting riled up and I wanted to direct all of my energies on the woman in front of me.

She shrugged and put the towel down, walking around and out from behind the bar. “I have a break coming up.”

It was music to my ears, even if the first part wasn’t. I was becoming a joke and I was going to have to do something about it. I told myself that I was going to have to use more discretion, become more choosey, but at the end of the day, Dahlia was beautiful, and my new life changes weren’t going to start tonight. I had no plans to walk away from this woman, so tonight I was still going to be the same old David. I promised myself that I would change tomorrow. There was always tomorrow to make all the changes that were needed.

“Why don’t you let me show you around Dahlia? This place is big, and I don’t want you to get lost.”

Dahlia agreed even though we both knew that she would not have an opportunity to be lost in the house. She would go home and even after I made her come, let her cry out my name for an hour, I won’t even know her name tomorrow. We both knew that I would never see her again. Right now, there was just this night between us and all the pleasures that we could muster in that short span of time. Most of the time, it was enough. Why would tonight be any different?

I showed her around the house, showing off the things that I figured would impress a girl like Dahlia. She didn’t seem as impressed as I would have liked to have hoped, so I knew another way to put a smile on her face. It was a far better way to do it as far as I was concerned. I wanted to release some of the pent-up energy that I couldn’t seem to kick, and it wasn’t long before I was ready to show her the bedroom. All the paintings on the wall and fine furniture wasn’t going to turn Dahlia’s head. Maybe some nice hard cock would do the trick.

“I want to show you the upstairs. That’s where the bedrooms are. Do you have some more time or is your break running short?”

“My break is as long as it needs to be David. I’m in no rush when it comes to you.”

I grinned at her and nodded my head. It was the best answer that I’d heard all day and before long I was pulling her up the tall bannister and then letting her walk beside me. I wanted to know what she was thinking, but it didn’t matter when she saw the bed and seemed to know just what to do.

Dahlia pulled the slip dress over her head and smiled back at me. There was no bra to cover her jiggling tit
s and the pink, protruding nipples that called to me. Everything was so feminine and fair about her that it tugged at my loins.

“I don’t want to see your things David. I want to feel you inside of me. That’s what I’ve heard about you that made me curious. Money is easy to come by, but a man with a big dick that knows how to use it will always be a gem. Especially one that can make me come till I cramp if the story is true.”

I swallowed hard and grinned back at the woman. She kept eye contact with me as she pulled her panties down and it was impossible for me to take my greedy gaze away from the thin line of red hair that tuft up above her forbidden place. The whole time I was thinking that I needed to change, I’d completely forgotten for a second how fun it was to be me.

Giving the woman what she asked for, I started to undress a little slower than her. My gaze was on the jiggling rack and the seemingly directions to her pleasure and I was sidetracked. Dahlia’s creamy light skin was hard to deny as I counted freckles on her shoulder blade when I drew closer. For this night and this moment, I wanted to know everything about her. I wanted to know every inch like it was my own. Tonight, I was going to make her mine. It was always the plan and I wanted to do it even more to Dahlia. My head was in the clouds and I didn’t want to come down.

She went to her tip toes to kiss me and then moaned as I picked her up and walked her the last few feet to the bed, tossing her up onto the mattress and watching her bounce. The parts that were supposed to did and it was seconds before I was able to pull my eyes from the show that she was giving me without even trying. She giggled and crooked her finger towards me.

Leaning back, Dahlia opened her legs and the pink slit invited me to the spot even faster. That thin little strip was all the hair that she had, and it was a blinking neon sign to my destination. Being me wasn’t so bad at all when women like Dahlia presented so beautifully and got me all worked up. I couldn’t think anymore and all that ran through my mind when I was crawling over her body was how good she was going to feel underneath me. She was going to be a masterpiece, I could already tell.

I started with my mouth because it worked slower and I wanted to live up to expectations that were made by previous conquests. I wanted to surpass her greatest needs, so that one day she would say something to another woman just like herself and I would have this opportunity again. I was all about the long haul when it came to women. I didn’t have that for one, just women in general and I knew that word of mouth was a good way to get more from references.

She tasted sweet and the sounds that came out of her mouth were even sweeter.

Tomorrow I would be a good person, but tonight I just wanted to play, and Dahlia was up for it.

  Chapter 2

  David

The phone rang and when I woke up, I realized that I wasn’t alone. The project from the night before was still in my bed and in the daylight, she was even prettier than last night. Most of her makeup had been worked off from sweat and movement, but there was still a part of me that didn’t want to see that side of any woman. The morning after when emotions were raw, was not my cup of tea, so I grabbed the phone and silenced it as I walked out of the room. I didn’t want to wake her up and then have to have a conversation with her. I was more a letter on your nightstand kind of guy and that wasn’t going to change any time soon.

  “Yeah?”

  “David?”

  “Who is this?”

“Marshall, man. I got this number from Carlos. What’s up?”

I hadn’t heard from Marshall in a very long time, years in fact and I had to wonder why he was calling me out of the blue. We’d been close when we went to school together, but life happened and most of the old gang went their own ways to live their own lives. I don’t know why, but I had to wonder every time I heard from someone after all this time if they found out I had money and wanted some. I’d never had anything before, but after almost a year of being stupid rich, it was clear that a question had to be posed. I had been hit up for money from old acquaintances before. I didn’t want to believe that was why Marshall was calling. He’d been a legitimate friend and a close one at that.

“Not much man, been a long time.”

“Did I catch you at a bad time? I thought you would be at work at the factory or something. It sounds like you just woke up though.”

I agreed that I had, and I didn’t say anything else about the factory. He knew that I worked there from before, but I had to think that he may very well have heard that I own the place now with my sister.

“Yeah, I’m not really a morning person anymore. So, what are you up to? I heard that you went into the military and that was the last I heard from you. Stationed at Fort Hood was the last gossip.”

“For once the gossip is true. I got in right out of school and I haven’t looked back. It was part of the family tradition, so it just seemed like the thing to do. It’s better than I would have thought.”

“I hear ya. That sounds great Marshall. I’m glad you get to do just what your dad and uncles did. I know that they used to tell us some of the craziest stories about the wars.”

“It’s what got me thinking about it. I know that I’m supposed to be doing what I’m doing, even if it is hard to be away from home for so long. Got a family now and I hate going off on missions more and more.”

  “Wow married with kids?”

  “Yeah, crazy right?”

I couldn’t believe it. I had been the good one back then and Marshall was the man that could have talked any woman in the world out of her panties and he would do it all with a smile on his face. It was hard for me to think of him as the family man. Was he the type that changed or did he find a wife that didn’t care? I needed to get me one of those.

“I would say so. I can’t imagine you being married with kids. It’s been a while though. I guess things change.”

“They do. Life gets old chasing the same ass every night, different girl, same face. I never used to catch their names because it didn’t really matter. After a while that shit got old, and then I found the one I was waiting for…”

He trailed off for a minute and I had a feeling he was reining it in because he was getting off track. I felt the same way and was trying to figure out what he was calling me for and how the hell we’d gotten talking about women and life.

“Anyways, how about you? Did you ever take the plunge and find that special girl?”

I waited for him to laugh or show some indication that he knew that it was all a joke. I had quite a reputation around the city as Dahlia was keen to remind me the night before. It wasn’t like I was a church boy, like Marshall was sounding more and more like.

“No, not hardly. I’m not in that stage of my life yet.”

Marshall chuckled like I was a dumb kid that had no idea what I was talking about. I didn’t like the condescending sound of it or for some reason I was being far too defensive.

“I hear ya man. So, I was wondering if you wanted to meet up. I’m here in town for a couple of days waiting for my sister to get in and I wouldn’t mind seeing your ugly face.”

I grinned to myself as I looked out at the green hills that rolled on for what seemed like forever. I hadn’t seen a view like this ever before in my life before I’d gotten all this money. Life had changed and in large, I’d changed along with it. I wasn’t the same person I used to be, but Marshall reminded me of who I’d once been. Maybe that is where I needed to start. He knew me, but he wasn’t treating me like all the rest. I worried that he would ask for money and it would have all been for that. I agreed to meet him for drinks anyways.

When I got off the phone with Marshall, I tried to see him married with kids and I couldn’t picture it. He’d banged over a hundred girls in school alone and it wasn’t something that I could see him stopping. How could he say that it got old? How could a new girl every night get old? I thought it for a moment in passing, but the feeling never lasted long, and I just pushed it down because it didn’t belong. It didn’t
get old. I was living the dream.

  “Hey David.”

Shit, it was the nameless girl from the night before and Marshall’s words echoed in my ear. Right now, I could see what he meant by things getting old. This dance was one that I’d done many times before and it wasn’t one that I liked all that well.

“Hey. Sorry if my phone woke you up. I had a call that I had to take, and the time change makes them call pretty damn early sometimes.”

She motioned that it was no big deal and I was happy that her clothes were back on. The girl had a look in her eye and I knew what she was thinking about. She wanted more, but I had rules of sorts. I never dipped twice. Once the night or day or whatever was over, it was over. No seconds and that was clearly what she wanted.

“It’s okay. I know that you’re busy and all. You’re a powerful man David.”

I didn’t need the reminder that she knew who I was intimately. She’d sought me out in a way. Maybe she’d came to the party because she knew that I would be there, positioned herself in such a way. As crazy as it sounded, I’d had it happen before. Having a load of money dumped in my lap had created growing pains and a mistrust that I didn’t like to add to my character.

“I have to go get ready. I have a meeting in twenty minutes. I will have my driver take you wherever you need to go.”

She thanked me, and I could see that she had something on the tip of her tongue. It was so close to being said, but she pulled it back in and just smiled.

  “I won’t see you again, will I?”

It wasn’t the first time that I’d been asked that question, the same ending assumed, but it was the first time that I really looked at the girl that was asking it. She looked sad suddenly and the night before was lost to her as she looked at me as if she wasn’t good enough. Fuck, therefore I leave a note.

“I don’t know. Anything is possible.”

“You haven’t said my name once.”
